Working with the Prince’s Trust

A chance to support Young People into work.

4 July to 21 July are important dates in the career development of a group of young unemployed people across London! And you could make a difference with a work placement.

Up to 20 lucky young people will have the opportunity to attend a 5 day ‘Get Into Customer Service’ Pitman Training programme commissioned by Prince’s Trust, starting on 4 July. This could be a major career break for them. Especially if they can find an immediate Work Placement.

To enable them to put their skills to good use Love and Tate are supporting the drive to find work for this group, starting with Work Placements from 11 – 21 July. Can

The training will add valuable skills to their repertoire, making them well worth considering for roles in reception, facilities, database updates, telephone queries, seasonal jobs … any tasks that can be delegated, allowing your professionals to crack on and hit their own targets!

This is a completely inspirational and free way to recruit – if you have a job in mind, you might like to meet and select your trainee before they start. If you are busy we can match you up with someone suitable and after a 2 week work placement, you can choose whether they carry on with you or not. It is entirely FREE of fees if you do keep them on. It is also a great chance for organisations to join in on a hugely positive project, meeting your CSR and diversity aims, too.

Please call Jacqui Maxwell on 020 7256 6668 or email Jacqui.maxwell@lovetate.co.uk if you would like to participate in some way.

Views from employers involved last time around:

"Lipe came to us for work experience through The Prince’s Trust Get into Admin programme. All the team managers that she worked with and I were thoroughly impressed with her attention to detail with the tasks that she was assigned and the speed at which she picked up some fairly complex principles and programmes."

"We worked with Sulaiman,on your ‘Get into Admin’ last July for 3 days.

Sulaiman was very keen to learn and was interested in all aspects of our work asking questions and through the short time that he was with us you could see his confidence growing by the interaction he had with working with different teams in the office.

He gained an insight into the different software that is available for the various work streams and how they are used.

We were able to assist Sulaiman in areas of work that he did not know may be available to him through study and gaining qualifications.  Everyone who worked with Sulaiman in the office commented on his attitude to work and his keenness to learn.

As a company we would welcome the opportunity to be involved in other ‘Get into’ schemes, this is dictated by our business needs and requirements at the time."
